BEES energy is the electricity produced on the rooftops of Schaerbeek and shared between the people of the neighbourhood. You use what your neighbours produce, at a fair and transparent price, with no middleman taking a cut.
A non-profit association, run by and for its members.
In three steps
Joining is simple
No building work, no complicated paperwork. We handle the rest, you keep your meter.
You join
You fill in a short form and become a member of the community. No hidden fees, no lifelong commitment.
You share
The energy from the neighbourhood's solar panels is shared between members. You use local, renewable electricity.
You save
You pay for the shared energy at a clear rate, set by the community. What is earned stays in the neighbourhood.
