How to read the map

Cabins, not addresses

Sibelga's grid is organised in low-voltage cabins, each feeding around a hundred addresses. That is the scale where sharing pays off most: the more producers and consumers under one cabin, the less distance the energy travels.

To protect members' privacy the map shows no address and no name. Participants are counted per cabin, or per municipality while their cabin is not yet known.
